As our first activity, AWTs staff puts on the campaign color (#OrangeTheWorld). Urging all especially women to put on orange and also disseminate the campaign to their peers, friends and family, orange for 16days, signifying a brighter future for women and girls.

AWT outside the office premises, placed a stand (table) with a suggestion box and petition, campaigning everyone to end violence and discrimination of all its forms against women. Majority of the sensitized population, including students from lycee Nkol- Eton where we also carried our campaign at the gates also signed a petition to end violence against women #EVAWG as well as dropped in their suggestions.

AWT also used the largest communication tool which is the social media. Campaign slogans, articles, educative and information notes were being posted on AWT face book page, All Women Together. Whereby, more awareness about the campaign was created.

In relation with the ongoing Anglophone crisis in Cameroon, AWT took this opportunity and called on Cameroon government to respect and protect human rights in general and specifically, the rights of women facing all forms of violence caused by the military and the separatist fighters.

More so, AWT used this campaign to officially once more call on the Cameroon government for justice for Mama Sabine, a 77 years old woman that was imprisoned for 17 year in two different prions in Cameroon without being judged, and also justice for bebe Annie that was raped at the age of three and half by a priest.

Finally, on the 10th of December 2018 which was the last day for activism, AWT and NDH organized a meeting with human rights defenders (CSO). This meeting was aimed at sharing ideas on how to defend and protect women in the crisis zones of Cameroon. At the end of the meeting, all the participants had a joint and signed declaration to continue defending the rights of women and fight against gender based violence (GBV) in Cameroon.
